hey ppl

I was surfing the www. And i came across this article published by an American research institute. What it does is to keep track on the famous majors in Universities. Apparently economics is super famous now bec the perception in the US is that it will help ppl secure jobs. I am feeling quite pissed because simple demand and supply analysis shows that the greater the supply, ceteris paribus, the lower the price as the increase in supply creates a downward pressure on prices. Damn!
Let's hope MRP theory saves all of us who want to study economics.
Aside from economics, business still remains one of the most famous degrees -undergrad and postgrad. Mechanical engineering and electrical engineering courses are also seeing a rise in the number of applicants. If the US is anything to go by, for the year 2006, it seems like we made the right decision. Let's hope our skills are relevant when we graduate. The shittiest thing would be to be structurally unemployed upon graduation.
