Snacks and Dian Xin
Let me give my opinion on the last stall on the left-wing (or right-wing, depending on your location) of the canteen... the SNACKS AND DIAN XIN STALL!!!! WHOO-HOO!!
Not exactly much to cheer about, really. But I guess since I am one of those peeps in the class who frequent this stall (heck, who else has sandwiches for lunch?), perhaps I am in a decent position to rate this stall?
Okay, I might be biased. You be the judge.
The stall makes a ridiculous amount of profits. Pocky and Hello Panda are cheaper in NTUC Fairprice (tells you something about the profits the stall makes), and the sandwiches are pretty expensive too. Can't blame them for enjoying monopoly power!!
But is the food good? Decent. I actually had some mee hoon from the stall once. However, the food left a pretty odd taste in the mouth... and the fried eggs you could dump into it were pretty okay. Nothing really special. Maybe I just prefer ordinary food, or home-cooked goodness.
It would be pretty unfair to judge the stall's food, since 70% of what they sell comprise processed food, and judging based on the remaining 30% will not be a fair representation of the stall's food. But of course, if I were to judge whatever they cook by themselves...
Food rating: 5/10 (assuming that the sandwiches were made by them. Otherwise, I would reduce the rating. I'm serious)
The auntie is quite nice. The uncle is... quite nice, although he has a tendency to sound rowdy at times. Rowdy standards are incomparable to the PRESSURE UNCLE though ;)
Owner rating: 8/10 (cheers)

Hey, don't say I abandon my sandwiches! Competitive demand exists!
